Kickstart your day with one of these four breakfast recipes that features apples. Healthy or indulgent- you choose!

apple oatmeal, cinnamon apple biscotti, cheddar apple muffins, apple parfait

I have shared two different breakfast recipes that feature apples this week. Both of those are indulgent baked goods that make for an incredibly delicious breakfast. Today I have four more recipes from the Think Tasty archives. To keep things balanced, two are healthier, and two are more indulgent. Pick the one that suits your dining pleasure!

Overnight Apple Oatmeal– Whether your mornings are hectic or you just would like to find breakfast waiting for you when you awake, this recipe is here to help. Add to it that it’s a healthy breakfast choice, and you have an all around winner of a recipe.

Cinnamon Apple Biscotti– Biscotti- a breakfast dish? Discuss among yourselves, if you must, but I can make a fine case for it to be served as the first meal of the day. Plus, you can make them in advance, and they’ll taste just as good as if they were fresh from the oven.

Apple Parfait– Another healthy breakfast recipe! Serve it in a pretty dish, such as a snifter, and you’ll have a fancy start to your day. You can assemble these in the morning or the night before. The decision is all yours!

Apple & Cheddar Muffins– Perhaps you’ve had enough with all of the sweetness in these recipes. Let me help with this muffin recipe. Unlike so many other baked goods, these muffins have a nice, savory essence while still allowing the apples to shine.

Have you chosen one? Make sure you do because, as you know, an apple a day. . .

If you haven’t, here’s one more to contemplate: Homemade Applesauce. Served warm is my personal preference.
