4 simple and elegant bruschetta recipes

I love these bruschetta recipes for two reasons:

  1. If I have plenty of time, I can assemble them in advance. If I’m in a rush, I can set out all of the ingredients and let my guests make their own.
  2. It’s a delicious equation. Carbs + Cheese + Fruit = Yum

Apple & Sage Bruschetta– Sweet and savory combine to make a lovely topping for crostini. With some goat cheese in between, you have all sorts of textures and flavors to enjoy.

Bruschetta with Honey Lemon Ricotta– This recipe is the simplest of them all, yet is incredibly flavorful. If you make this bruschetta, be sure to buy good ricotta or make your own. (Yes, that means more effort, but it’s totally worth it.)

Cherry & Thyme Bruschetta– Another pairing of savory herbs and fruit makes another bruschetta full of contrast. If you can find cherries in the produce department, make this now.

Fig, Walnut, & Goat Cheese Sweet Potato Rounds– Made on a sweet potato base instead of bread, these are a bit healthier but just as delicious. The figs add a nice amount of sweetness, which balances out the tang of the goat cheese.

Holiday gatherings are different this year, but that doesn’t mean we need to stop snacking. Choose one of these simple, yet elegant, bruschetta recipes and host a holiday party just for your household. (Bonus: you won’t have to share the bruschetta with as many people.)
