A homemade start to a weekend morning can be yours with one of these three quick bread recipes.
This week I’ve been focusing on carb-centric breakfast treats that I adore. Monday’s recipe for Carrot Cake Scones is a recipe you can make in about an hour or less. Wednesday’s recipe for From Scratch Monkey Bread needs the better part of three hours. Both are delicious; it’s just a matter of how much time you have to prepare your morning meal.
Today I have three more baked goods I adore, all of which need about an hour of your attention. To my thinking any one of these three could be a great way to start one of the days this weekend.
Cinnamon Marbled Quick Bread– Do you love cinnamon swirl bread but hate the multiple hours it takes to make a loaf? Let this quick bread takes it place. Sure, it’s a softer texture, but it has all the flavors for a nice quick win!
Aunt Sue’s Pumpkin Bread– I would be remiss if I didn’t include this recipe on this short list. Not only does it make a delicious loaf of pumpkin bread, it’s also a favorite of my entire extended family. Make some and join our fandom!
Banana Bread– Apparently during this time of stay home orders, everyone is making banana bread. I am not one of those people, although I’ve done my share of baking. Maybe in an upcoming weekend I’ll make a loaf using this tried and true recipe.
So, what bread are you going to make? It seems to me that you can’t make a wrong choice!
