It was a good choice. It gave me time to focus on my full-time role in entrepreneurial education and not to stress over a baking and writing schedule for this blog. However, I also missed that structured time in the kitchen. Sure, I left time to cook but ended up focusing on dinner and not necessarily in an overly creative way.
As 2018 dawned, I began to consider ways that I could delve into my food passion again without compromising my other role. My plan is to be less ambitious on quantity but more creative in quality. My goal is to make one new food item each week, which will have a corresponding blog post. However, if it’s a crazy workweek, Think Tasty will feature two recycled blog posts. I can’t be all things to all roles.
Also, I still struggle with the photographic part of blogging. My pictures are ok, but they aren’t dynamic, especially when I compare them to well read bloggers. I honestly don’t want to put a lot of time into perfecting this skill, so I’ll strive for semi-attractive pictures and move along from there. I guess I’ll ask my readers to trust that the recipes I share are delicious. I truly wouldn’t publish a recipe if I didn’t think it were so.
So starting tomorrow, come back to Think Tasty for a new recipe. Hopefully, every Tuesday in the future there will be a new recipe that tantalizes and amazes. On Thursdays, you’ll find an older recipe that I’ve chosen to complement Tuesday’s post. In addition to the recipe, you’ll find a few updated hints and thoughts from me.
For those who have been reading Think Tasty for years, welcome back! To those new to this blog, I’m glad you’ve found it.
