ref=”https://thinktasty1.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/bestrest.jpg”>At Think Tasty, we enjoy visiting new restaurants at home and when we travel.  We look for creative menu items, helpful service, and attractive decor.  Although we are foodies, we also like simple food done well.  Sometimes a side of the road diner can be just as delightful as a gourmet bistro.

Unfortunately, reviewing restaurants for Think Tasty is not a full-time job, which means that we need input from others.  In the coming months we will be finding the best restaurants from coast to coast (with a little help from HARO).  Starting with the Pacific Alaska region, we will provide a list of ten to twelve recommended restaurants and ask you, our readers, to decide who is the best.

So, here’s to finding new restaurants. . .and, maybe, planning some culinary travel!

Please don’t forget my all time favorite, Seasstar Restaurant and Raw Bar in Belleveu. The most delicious dishes one could ever dream of and they always have something new and mind blowing on the menu.

Terrace Kitchen in Lake Oswego rocks! Chef is James Beard award winner and he is always at the stove when I dine. Great chow. loved the jazz quartet with vibes – cool.

Terrace Kitchen in Lake Oswego, Oregon is the perfect example of the “ultimate best kept secret”. Quiet, intimate, warm and cordial atmosphere, superb service, outstanding food, wine and cocktails topped with deserts to remember. This family owned and operated small restaurant reminds me of some of the finest off-the-beaten-path French restaurants we found on back roads in our drive through the wine country of France. TK is a place we will never tire of going back to.
