Turn that locally picked produce into one of these farm fresh summer salads

Sweet Corn & Tomato Salad– Two ingredients that I really prefer when they’re local and freshly picked come together to make a salad that shouts, “Hello, summer!” Make it now while both ingredients are readily available at your local farmstand.
Peach Caprese Salad– Simple and elegant are the two words I would use to describe this salad. If you need a third, it would be surprising. Not only are you surprised by peaches in a caprese salad, you also will be shocked at how well everything pairs.
Fresh Peach & Tomato Salad– When I first thought of this pairing, I wasn’t sure of the results. What I learned was that sweet peaches really work well with ripe tomatoes. You have to try it to see what I mean.
In the heat of August, it’s time to get some local produce and make a cool side dish to serve with dinner.
