How about a ‘Lolly Party’ for your child’s next birthday?

During our time as kids, we used to spend hours crouching over board games. With many generations brought up like this, game theme parties can be perfect for adults and kids alike. So, if you are looking to host a party for both kids and adults, here are ideas that can help:

1. Pick a Theme

Choose a suitable theme if you want to host a party for your upcoming celebration. From a hip TikTok-themed party to a young child’s birthday party, you will always get something to make your guests happy. Here are more examples of themed parties you can organise:

  • Hawaiian theme
  • 80s theme
  • Casino theme
  • 70s theme
  • Mexican theme
  • Barbie theme

2. Organise a Relay

One of the fun games that you can organise and play with lollies is a lolly relay. This is one of the greatest team-building activities and is fun for every age. You just require two teams, a finish line and a starting line.

Then, place one or two bowls of lollies at the finishing line. The key goal of this game is to determine which team can relay the lollies the fastest.

3. Create Magical Seats

Whether you prefer using your own chairs or renting some, seating is part of the party decorations. All you need to do is dress up the chairs by simply wrapping colourful ribbons around the seats’ backs. You may then insert a few lollies in the ribbon nooks and offer your guests the opportunity to take those treats home once the party ends.

4. Use Water Beads in a Vase with Vinyl Faces

Water beads are very easy to use for all kinds of holiday decorations. They shrink back to the size of seed beads once you are done using them. You may require water beads in your lolly corn colours, black vinyl, a tall glass vase, and electronic cutters to make a themed vase for your party table.

5. Consider Setting up a Drink Station

Rather than pointing your guests in the direction of the cooler or fridge or giving them drinks upon their arrival, consider creating a conversation opportunity with a drink station.

To make things much easier, you can serve zero-proof cocktails or a batched low-ABV from a dispenser and put everything in place that your guests require to assemble their drinks, including cups.

6. Opt for Simple Catering

Some of us go overboard with our party foods, especially for kids’ birthdays. These can include pikelets, cones of chips/popcorn, meatballs, and warm sausage rolls, as well as pizzas, a bowl of lollies, and fairy bread.

Unfortunately, this requires a lot of effort and can cost thousands of dollars. Instead of doing all that, you can opt for simple catering. You can choose a location with a barbeque, make fruit platters, have one or two bowls of lollies, and buy a few packets of popcorn and chips. There should also be several jugs of juice and water.

In conclusion, we understand that being a little bit careful about our kids’ sugar intake is important. But once in a blue moon, especially for special parties like this, try to loosen up and get stuck into some lollies with a lolly party.
