All of this week I’ve written about these dessert recipes filled with flaked coconut, none of which my husband enjoys. I decided that I couldn’t let the week come to an end without sharing a coconut dessert recipe he enjoys. So, here we are today with two recipes for coconut desserts that we share together.

Ultimate Coconut Cake with Coconut Frosting

Looking at the picture above, you may wonder how my flake-averse husband enjoys that cake. It’s simple; on one portion of the cake I don’t put coconut on top of the frosting. Easy-peasy. No Need for Frosting Coconut Cake

The name of this recipe says it all. It’s a simple cake that can be made last minute. As it isn’t frosted, you can serve it warm from the oven. Add a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream, if you’d like, and dessert is ready. With no flaked coconut in sight, it’s a dessert perfect for my husband and I to share.
